Who we are?

My name is Taras, and I’m the founder and owner of the Woodland store.

Back in 2017, I decided to fulfill a childhood dream — to create a small carpentry workshop in our country house.

Every evening after my office job, I would spend time in the workshop, crafting various wooden trinkets. At the time, it was just a hobby I deeply enjoyed.

What we stand for

By then, my son Illyia was just one year old, and I started making wooden toys especially for him.

Whenever guests came over and saw the toys, they couldn’t believe I had made them myself — until I invited them to the workshop to see with their own eyes.

My friends kept encouraging me to start selling the toys, but I always replied, “It’s just a hobby.”

Eventually, after yet another friendly nudge, I decided to give it a real try and turn my passion into something more.

With over 100,000 orders and 18,000+ reviews on Etsy, Woodland has grown from a small workshop project into a trusted brand for thoughtful, handmade toys.

Each item is still crafted with the same care and inspiration — starting from the very first toys I made for my son.
